This is the adjective I would use to desctribe tonight. The second Monday of each month I get together with friends I have had since I was a young girl, and there is always a "homely" presence about the night. It is a night of true genunity, of a constant love I have always known. They are the kind of friends people long for. They are real, genuine, non-judgemental and loving... always. they have seen me at my roughest points in life and have always loved me.
There is no competition, no judging. Just love.
There is an almost constant laughter, yet appropirate silence as needed.
It is beautiful. They are beautiful.
